With the freedom to choose subject matter and materials, some students have really taken on the task as a challenge. this large kusudama is a design called "Revealed Flower Kusudama". This student has been working nonstop over the last month trying to make it a reality! I had a model I created several years ago, and using directions from online, the example, patience and persistence, he has the functioning model! By pulling apart the pyramids, you reveal an entirely new model. Very difficult and I am so proud of him!
Very smart and intelligent kid indeed. Very few people manage to achieve such motivation for working on such diverse and unique topics. This kids must be appreciated for this great efforts towards such a helpful subject.
