After looking at chuck close, I asked the staff for suggestions, then picked 7 images. Manipulated in photoshop, cut and distributed one square to each child. Every kid learns about color mixing and participates in a collaborative mural. Pretty nice results!
LOVE these!! I've done this where each kid does a black and white pencil drawing- but they're so much more alive in color! I've got to try this next time.
ReplyDeleteIt took a lot of organization on my part before they started, but you are right, they look great in color. Because they were a mystery, there were a few corrections I made after to get it to look like a face, but on the whole, pretty amazing! Thanks for viewing.
